- Wednesday, May 28: Riding meeting at 6 PM at the fairgrounds
- Friday, May 30: State Horse Show Test study session at 7 PM at the Steinhours. You should bring copies of Horses and Horsemanship and Horse Science (2 publications from the National 4-H Council available for purchase at the 4-H office) and also the 4-H Horse and Pony Project Rules & Regulations, which can be downloaded from
http://web1.msue.msu.edu/cyf/youth/horse/horserules.html. Please let Sarah know if you are coming.
June
- Sunday, June 1: Fair sign-up for those who missed the May meeting at 2 Pm at Karla's house. This will be the last chance for sign-up or to make changes. You may bring your fundraising money from the candy bar sales and t-shirts that you ordered will be available and can be paid for if you haven't done so already.
- Wednesday, June 4: Riding meeting at 6 PM at the fairgrounds. The focus will be on English Riding but Western riders are welcome too.
- Wednesday, June 11: Riding meeting at 6 PM at the fairgrounds with clinician Maribeth Dickerson on Showmanship with riding to follow later. Please bring your showmanship tack if possible (show halters and leads with chain shanks for Western/bridles for English) or any well-fitting halter and lead with a chain shank.
- Monday, June 16: State Show Test at 7:30 PM in the Community Building at the fairgrounds.
- Tuesday, June 17 - Thursday, June 19: Ingham County Horse Camp
- Tuesday, June 17: Educational Gymkhana Clinic at 7:30 PM at the fairgrounds. MANDATORY if you have never attended this clinic before or if horse and rider combination have changed. Horse and rider must attend in order to participate in Gymkhana events at Achievement Days or Fair. This clinic is optional for those who have attended in prior years.
- Wednesday, June 18: Jumping Clinic at 7:30 PM at the fairgrounds. MANDATORY if you have never attended this clinic before or if horse and rider combination have changed. Horse and rider must attend in order to jump at Achievement Days or Fair. This clinic is optional for those who have attended in prior years.
- Friday, June 20 - Saturday, June 21: Well-Dunn 4-H Open Show (Gymkhana Friday, open show Saturday)
- Sunday, June 22: Achievement Day I

Announcement from Mindy for members doing craft projects: "I have uploaded the craft information sheet for your convenience when signing up for fair. This includes Department, Division, Section and Class codes as well as a basic description of the project(s) for your reference. I will have these available later this year during sign-up because the codes may change based on the 2008 Fair Book. Reminder to complete your craft form as soon as possible while the steps are fresh in your memory. Craft forms can be uploaded from the RnR website.
