I have Shetland and Ole English Babydoll sheep. Fleece in all colors. Will have fleece available in my vendor space and fleece available all year round since my flock numbers over 100 sheep. May also have limited amount of llama fleece available.

We are located in northern Trumbull County. We sell llama fleece and roving, also some llama and Shetland blended roving. We offer llama in white, red, chocolate to light brown and gray colors. Prices will vary due to the type of fiber. I sheer my llama in late April to Mid May. I am willing to show how to prepare and shear a llama, and also how to skirt a fleece afterward. The Black Sheep is a small flock of outstanding colored Lincoln, Lincoln/Corriedale crossbred sheep to which a few Romney have been added. Each sheep is selected specifically for their high quality, clean, strong, and luxuriously soft fibers. We offer: Chocolate, Brindle, Cinnamon, Silver, Dark Charcoal, Frosted Gray, Black, and White. The length of a Lincoln fleece (can be 12-15 inch staple) makes spinning a joy.
Also, have a trip of Angora Goats, who produce lovely Mohair. Wool and mohair are available as raw fleece or processed ready to use roving or rolags in a wide range of natural or hand dyed colors from nature.
Late September/October lambs are looking to find new homes in another fine spinner’s flock. 24 outstanding lambs with high quality fleece, distinctive colors, and remarkable conformation.

Will have some raw Alpaca, some in roving, some blends of roving and yarn. Lots of natural and dyed colors.
This year shearing was early May and are happy to let people reserve certain fleeces in advance, including fleeces that will be shown later in the year and available in early December.

Border Leicester/Blue Faced Leicester sheep. Both types of sheep are known for their long curly lustrous and usually white locks with the Blue Faced Leicester sheep having finer wool than the Border Leicester sheep. Noah’s Landing sheep are crosses with a little bit of something else thrown in as half are white and the other half of the sheep are grey. The locks are usually from about 6 in. to 9 in. Besides spinning the locks are used for Santa beards and doll hair. The fleeces are very open and easy to prepare for spinning.
Shearing is usually done in May. 2008 fleeces are $6 per lb for entire fleece, $8 per lb for partial fleeces. 2007 fleece $4 per lb. Washed wool $16 per lb.
