1) Have You Ever Wanted to Give a Presentation?

Are you interested in giving presentations about a plant-based lifestyle? The VegMichigan lecture team wants to meet you! Experience not needed. We will be meeting at The Medicine Cabinet Pharmacy, 27159 Greenfield, Southfield on Wednesday, February 20 at 7 p.m. A sample 30 minute lecture will be given, with discussion afterwards. Please RSVP topaul@vegmichigan.org . This will be a great opportunity for you to get
started.


2) Dinner Club - Hogan's Restaurant, Bloomfield Hills - February 9, 7 p.m.

Saturday, February 9 at 7:00 pm, VegMichigan will host a dinner at Hogan's Restaurant in Bloomfield Hills, 6450 Telegraph Road (North of Maple Road). Chef Doug Goodwin will prepare a delicious vegan meal for us, including a salad, entree (details pending), and ending in the famous Tofutti pie. Cost will be $14,including beverage, tax and tip.

3) Ann Arbor Dinner Club - Earthen Jar - February 16, 7:30 p.m.

4) Events at Detroit Evolution

The Detroit Evolution Laboratory is a unique space designed to grow various concepts that all share the common goal of health, joy, and liberation for
the people of Detroit. The Lab offers tried and true practices and services that have immediate effect, from a stress reducing yet energizing yoga

Join us for a day of exploring a plant-based diet with fabulous speakers, vendors, restaurant samplings, food demos, great prizes and more. This
year's featured speakers are nationally known Milton Mills, MD, Associate Director of Preventive Medicine for Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and Colleen Patrick-Goudreau, founder and director of Compassionate Cooks, and author of "The Joy of Vegan Baking".

This is a wonderful opportunity to expose a loved one or friend to the many benefits of plant-based foods!

Membership privileges -- get into the Great American Meatout for free

VegMichigan members get free admission to the Great American Meatout.  Members, just bring your membership card with you to the Meatout for free admission. Not yet a member? Join VegMichigan before, or on the day of the Meatout, and get into the Meatout for free.

Actually, there are many benefits to membership. Here are some additional examples.

* You are entitled to a discount on all VegMichigan merchandise, including veggie-related books, t-shirts, buttons, etc. Be sure to stop by the
VegMichigan table at the Meatout (in the Exhibitor Area).

* You will receive our newest benefit -- a complimentary subscription to VegNews magazine. VegNews, delivered bimonthly at a cover price of $4.95 per issue, is a top-notch national magazine on all things vegetarian and vegan.
