A family from Southgate 's house burned down New Years' day. They are in temporary housing and will be for a while, and will be in an apartment until they can build another house They have not found any apartments willing to take large dogs.  They have a 4 year old pure breed female German Shepherd that is now staying in a friends garage.  They are looking for a foster home or would be willing to surrender the dog to a rescue if they can find one to take her.
