CASE UPDATE: Man Ties Dog to SUV; Judge Dismisses Case
James M. Leppek, a 46-year-old Bad Axe man is accused of tying a dog to the back of his automobile and dragging him down the road. Leppek allegedly abandoned the dog in a ditch.
Prosecutor Mark Gaertner charged Leppek with a felony. However, the judge dismissed the felony charges, because he felt malicious intent was not proven. Please weigh in with the judge about your opinion.
