No, the headline is not an evil April Fool’s prank, but rather a means for you to experience – however briefly - the excitement that will be ours this November 7th after it is announced that the Mourning Dove Referendum has won!

Because the continued protection of mourning doves in Michigan will largely be decided by which "side" has more money to spend on broadcast media spots,  volunteers are continuously working to come up with exciting new fundraising opportunities.  This month we're celebrating "Mother's Day" by launching two new special ways for you to contribute to the dove campaign and honor Moms and other loved ones at the same time. 

Special Mother's Day Fundraiser - Mother's Day is May 14th~

 Honor/Remember Your Loved Ones for Mother's Day~

Help save the doves and pay special tribute to a loved one at the same time.  For a donation of ANY dollar amount, we will print the name of the honoree or person/pet being remembered on the website with your own special message for Mother's Day.  For a contribution of $30 or more, we will also send the honoree a beautiful certificate with both the honoree and the donor's names on it.   It’s easy. Simply print the form (attached) and then it mail with your check, fax to 517 659-6000 or email it to us by May 8th with your contribution through PayPal http://www.stopshootingdoves.org/donate.html.

Important Note: Both merchandise orders and special tributes must be received by Monday, May 8th for recipient to receive merchandise or certificate by Mother’s Day.
