Adopt a Guinea Pig Month

Guinea pigs are popular companion animals because of their docile behavior, ease of handling and clean, quiet nature.  Though the average lifespan of a Guinea pig is only four to five years, many are surrendered to the Michigan Humane Society and are waiting patiently for permanent, loving homes.  Want to make a little pig’s day?  Help the MHS reach new adopters by sending our Adopt a Guinea Pig Month eCard to your friends and family!

Legislative Action Network

Join our statewide Legislative Action Network and help the Michigan Humane Society improve the lives of animals in Michigan. You'll receive action alerts from the MHS on current legislative initiatives, such as the Companion Animal Welfare Fund. You can help make a difference!
