If you live in Michigan's 15th Congressional District your U.S. Representative John Dingell (D-15th) needs to hear that you want Congress to pass the Antifreeze Bittering Bill (H.R. 2567).
Rep. Dingell is the ranking member of the Energy and Commerce Committee which has jurisdiction over H.R. 2567. His support is absolutely crucial to passage of this life saving bill, but so far he seems inclined to oppose the bill.
The Antifreeze Bittering Bill (H.R. 2567) will help prevent antifreeze poisonings of animals and children by requiring the addition of a bittering agent to render antifreeze unpalatable. The U.S. Senate favorably reported the Senate version of the Antifreeze Bittering Bill out of committee with a strong recommendation for passage by the full Senate.
