The Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF) of the University of Michigan Law
School is hosting "Hurricane Relief": A Charity Dog Walk-a-Thon.  

This will be held at Gallup Park in Ann Arbor on Saturday, October 22nd, from 10 
AM to 2 PM.  A $10 donation is suggested to participate, and participants 
pledging $20 or more will receive a gift bag with goodies for both humans and dogs.  
100% of the proceed from the walk will go to the animal rescue efforts of the Louisiana
SPCA.

This event is BYOD (bring your own dog), but we are also hoping to have dogs from 
local rescue groups available for walking.  Even if you are dog-less, you are welcome
to participate.
