EMERGENCY ALERT

SEPTEMBER 24, 2005 ANN ARBOR NEWS ARTICLE

The Ann Arbor News visited SASHA Farm on September 23rd which resulted in a touching and wonderfully well written article.  However, they included a potentially disastrous misprint that will have a major impact on SASHA Farm’s ability to receive much needed donated funds that are intended to assist us with being able to provide the necessary medical and general care for the abandoned, displaced and homeless Hurricane Katrina dogs that we have recently rescued, and those that we intend to rescue in the coming weeks.

The article (located on A3 & A4) in the news today mentioned that “For information or to donate, call the Humane Society of Huron Valley at 734-662-5585”.  THIS IS OBVIOUSLY INCORRECT INFORMATION!

PLEASE HELP US BY CONTACTING THE EDITOR OF THE ANN ARBOR NEWS AND RESPECTFULLY DEMANDING THAT THEY RECTIFY THIS SITUATION IMMEDIATELY BY PRINTING THE ARTICLE AGAIN (ALONG WITH A RETRACTION ABOUT THE ORIGINAL MISINFORMATION) IN THE SUNDAY EDITION OF THE NEWS. Correct information: SASHA Farm P.O. Box 222 Manchester, MI 48158 734-428-9617 www.sashafarm.org Katrina@sashafarm.org
