Have you ever wondered what in the world vegetarians or people who are just wanting to cut down on their meat consumption,  eat at the Holidays? Or perhaps you felt sorry for them at Thanksgiving and Christmas, as you sink your teeth into your roast turkey? The seventeenth annual Vegetarian Holiday Tasting Extravaganza can put all your wondering and concerns to rest, while your taste buds savor some truly exciting culinary treats. This tasting feast will be held at the Metropolitan Seventh-day Adventist School Gym, 15585 Haggerty Road (just north of 5 Mile Road), on Sunday, November 13th    this year.

The samplings will include every category of food only with out meat, seafood or poultry of any kind.   A large portion will be main dish creations, but there will also be many hors d’oeuvres, salads, vegetable creations and desserts. Each cook will be serving their own unique dish so you will be able to get inside information about the recipes and food preparation on the spot.  A Registered Dietitian, several Physicians and certified Fitness trainer will be among the chefs and servers, to answer nutritional questions. A cookbook, with all the recipes presented for the first 15 years, will be on hand for purchase at $25.00 each, as well as a booklet with all recipes being presented this year, for a nominal price.
