Dear Friends,

 

It is with great sadness that I am informing you that Eileen Dodman passed away yesterday.  Most of you know that she was a tireless advocate for animals, and was largely responsible for the cessation of Pound Release in Macomb County back in the 80s.  She will be greatly missed.

 

FYI, she is requesting that she be memorialized by sending donations to the

Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society (13569 Joseph Campau, Detroit, MI 48212).  Her

daughters Michelle and Kim will be hosting a Wake in Eileen's honor on Sunday from 2-9P at A.H.Peters Funeral Home between 8 Mile and Mack in Grosse Pointe Woods.  Her funeral will be on Monday at 1P (I don't have that location). 

 

The animals have lost a GREAT friend!
