Hello,

I am in southern Ohio - I have a small rescue group. I recently had a transporter steal a puppy she was transporting. She adopted one and was to transport the other. She is refusing to give me the puppy back unless I pay her $300.00 that she says the emergency vet charged her because the puppy became ill. She wouldn't give me the number of the vet - just that it was in Madison Heights,  MI. I called every emergency vet in her area and no one had seen the pups or the lady.

I am trying to get the word out about this lady. I am also hoping to get my pups back and I want to make sure this lady NEVER receives an animal from anyone again.

This email is going out in mass to every rescue I can find in Michigan and also Ohio. I hope you can send it to the contacts you have also.

I am also contacting every vet within a 100 miles of her. So far I have 61 that are within 14 miles of her but I am still putting it together. It looks like I will need to contact more than I thought. If you have a vet that you work with fairly well can you please take the time to call them about the pups and let me know which one you contacted? It will save me a little long distance if you could.

I am attaching pictures of the pups and also all the information I have on them. I am also attaching all the information I have on the lady who took them...

Pup #1 - Pomeranian/ Westie Terrier Mix - Male - Black with a touch of white on him - approximately 2 pounds - will be 8 weeks old May 14th (as long as the former owner was honest with me) - I bottle fed these pups when they were a week old and on. This little guy she adopted but I am trying to get him back also - I will refund her money to her.

Pup #2 - Pomeranian/ Westie Terrier Mix - Female - White - approximately 2 pounds - will be 8 weeks old May 14th (as long as the former owner was honest with me) - I bottle fed these pups when they were a week old and on. This little girl is the stolen one - she is very cute and rotten - one ear stands straight up and the other tends to bend over in the middle.

The lady who took the puppy is:

Susanne Aeillo (Sue)
2646 Holland St
Lake Orion, MI 48360-2301
248-393-1832

Also - if there is a rescue that is close to that area would that rescue be willing to take custody of the pups if I can get her to turn them over? If so please send me your contact information.

I am also attaching a flyer I made up about the pups - maybe each of you could print it and take to the vets office you work with.

I feel like I am asking so much but I am desperate to get these pups back. I won't rest until I do. I have contacted local law enforcement, lawyers, prosecutors - trying to get someone to help me but I can't find anyone - the police in Lake Orion told me it was between me and the lady and the humane society said they couldn't do anything either.

Please help if you can - even if it is only advice.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I am giving the lady until 3:00pm Eastern Standard Time on May 10, 2005 to surrender the pups - if she doesn't then I really need a lot of help.
