In case any of you tried to visit the Horses' Haven web page recently and
wondered what happened to us, we wanted to let you know why we've been
down and where you can find us, and let you know that we're still here and
going strong.
A couple of weeks ago, we had some major problems with our web hosting
company, Myvine. We tried to make a minor change to the home page, and
when we tried to upload it, we received an error, and the page would no
longer display. We opened a case with them and called them for updates
every day for almost a week before they informed us that they had "lost"
the server and had no backup. We have had trouble with their downtime in
the past, so were ready to make a move.
So, you can find us under our own domain name at
www.horseshaven.org. Some of you
may already be using this URL, but if you're not, please be sure and
bookmark us at
www.horseshaven.org.
Stop by and see us often as we love to have you visit us on the web.
We will be working over the next weeks to get all of the search engines
and web pages that have our incorrect URL, updated with the correct URL,
so please be patient if you see an incorrect link address. We also have
some corrections to make in the code on the web page, which we will be
working on as well.
