Dear Friends of Horses' Haven,
In our last email to you all, the horses persuaded us to include their holiday wish list in hopes you might be interested in helping make their wishes come true. Well, so many of you came through with gifts to fulfill their wishes that our club room was filled with beautifully wrapped presents for everyone, and not one animal at Horses' Haven went without having their wish come true. The horses are staying toasty warm during this bitter cold weather in the beautiful new blankets so many of you bought for them, Dorothy loves her fleece, and everyone is enjoying the treats, buckets and other very special gifts. All of the residents here at Horses' Haven are still basking in the warmth of your generosity. Many, many thanks to you all for making this holiday so special for all of our animals. You're awesome!
We have some activities coming up in which you might be interested…
· Our ANNUAL AUCTION AND LUNCHEON will be held at Bakers of Milford on Saturday, February 5th starting at 11:30 A.M. If you haven't attended this event before, you're really missing a good time. We usually have lots of great auction items, a fantastic lunch, and lots of horse loving friends with whom to share stories. Reservations are a must for this and you can make your reservations by calling 517-548-4880. The cost for the buffet luncheon is $18 for adults, and $8 for children 12 years and under.
We are also accepting goods and services for the auction. If you have something you'd like to donate for auction, please call Debbie at 248-684-6706.
Bakers of Milford is located at 2025 South Milford Road, Milford. It is on the east side of Milford Road approx. 3 miles north of I-696 across from the Milford Road entrance to Kensington Metropark. For a map to Bakers, you can visit their web page at: http://www.bakersofmilford.com

SALE - February 13, 2005 - Sunday 12 Noon to 4 P.M.
South Lyon Millennium Middle School (9 mile, just west of Pontiac Trail,
behind CVS Pharmacy)- Horses' Haven will have a table at the sale and will
need volunteers to assist. Please send us an email or call the office at
517-548-4880 if you'd like to help at this event or if you'd like to donate
tack items. Admission to the sale is $1.00 per person.

Also, we are still looking for items to auction on Ebay ongoing. Ebay could be a huge fund raiser for us yearly to help us continue in our efforts for these great animals, but we do need your help to make that happen.
