Second Chance Dobes is a rescue located in Clinton Michigan. Founder Arda
Barber has been rescuing Dobermans Pinchers since 1981.

It all started when Arda went to a humane society to pick up a boxer for a
friend. At the humane society there was also 4 beautiful Dobermans that
would be put to sleep that day if a home was not found for them. With out
thinking twice Arda loaded all 5 animals into her van and brought them
home. Since that day Arda has rescued over 3,000 dobes and over 1,000 dogs
of other breeds
