Spay Neuter Awareness Walk Fundraiser
WHO: The Grosse Pointe Animal Adoption Society (GPAAS) is a community service organization serving the Grosse Pointes and neighboring communities as a foster-home-based, non-euthanasia organization that finds suitable homes for indoor companion animals that have been abandoned, surrendered or found. Our service includes fulfilling the needs within our community as well as networking with shelters and other groups to assist whenever possible. Since our inception in 1997, GPAAS has assisted in the care and placement of over 2500 companion animals!
WHAT/ Spay Neuter Awareness Walk to Benefit the GPAAS
Donation ‑ $10 per person or $25 per family. We also welcome the collection of sponsor donations. Best buddies are welcome on a short leash. All proceeds to benefit the GPAAS.
WHY: To raise community awareness on the importance of spaying and neutering our pets and to raise funds to support the work of the GPAAS in the community. GPAAS is supported solely by public donations that are used to provide veterinary care, food and supplies for the pets in our care.
WHEN: Sunday, October 3, 2004 (Rain or Shine)
Registration Noon – 1:00pm Walk 1:00pm – 3:00pm (2.8 miles)
