Farms For Ferals Program

Relocation of feral cat colonies is discouraged; however, it is sometimes an unfortunate necessity for ferals living in dangerous conditions. For this reason, Feral Cat Network announces the "Farms For Ferals" program.

The mission of "Farms For Ferals" is to find farm owners who are willing to allow the permanent relocation of one or more feral cat colonies on their property.

Cats who are relocated to farmland must be provided with fresh food, water, and adequate shelter on a daily basis, as well as necessary medical care. All cats relocated must be spayed/neutered before relocation.

There are currently many colony caregivers who desperately need to relocate cats to a safer environment; some caregivers would be willing to continue caring for the cats at their new location.

If you are willing to be a part of the "Farms For Ferals" program, please send your contact information and a veterinary reference to feralcatnet@yahoo.com Feral Cat Network will inform you of colonies in need. The information you supply to Feral Cat Network will never be disclosed without your permission.

Please note: "Farms For Ferals" will help network caregivers with available farm owners; ensuring the cats' safety is the responsibility of the caregivers.
