Goose Hunting in Paw Paw, Michigan

The village of Paw Paw, Michigan just passed in a closed committee meeting a ruling for a raffle to be taken which will allow for the hunting of the Canadian Geese that migrate here every year.  This hunt will run for 15 day and give each lucky winner the right to bring along three of their hunting buddies for the day.  There has been no information about a limit on the number of geese that will be killed.  They are planning on having this hunt less than 4 blocks from the local elementary school.  The idea was presented to the village council by the director of public works, an avid hunter, who is in charge of the area in question.
