One of Bolt's first two sons, Blast is a handsome, clear blue merle with tan points. He has a fantastic front and his sire's excellent bone, body length and correct oval chest. He has an attractive expression, flashy markings and a great attitude in the show ring that has caught the attention of many in his limited show career. He finished his UKC Champion title quickly and may continue making occasional appearances in the AKC ring.

Blast has now gone ot live in Mansfield, Ohio with Nancy Cone of ST's cardigans. He has fit right in with the ST's gang and brings with him a pedigree that includes some of the lines which founded her kennel. In 2005, he was bred to ST's-Wntr Quantum Chkrd Flags, a.k.a. "QT" who whelped five handsome boys.
In 2007 the breeding was repeated, ultimately resulting in four pretty blue merle girls.
At the August 2007 CWCCWR regional specialty in Ohio, Blast placed Fourth in the Rally Novice class with a qualifying score of 98 out of a possible 100 for his first leg toward his RN title! Many Thanks goes to Nancy for handling him to this accomplishment and to judge Jeffrey Showmann for the award and his kind remarks about Blast's wonderful show attitude.
