KC8YEC
Greetings from KC8YEC. My handle is Doug and currently hold a General-class ticket. My equipment includes an ICOM IC751 HF rig with a MFJ941 tuner, and a 10-80M Windom antenna at 40'. Also, I use a Kenwood G707 2M/440 attached to a homebrew J-Pole.
Here are photos of my 2 rigs:

I enjoy contesting, usually running 100W on 20, 40, and 80M. I have made some DX contacts as well, lately on 17M, the longest distance so far is Slovenia. Not bad with a compromise antenna from SouthWest Michigan. I do enjoy ragchewing, and am starting to get into PSK31 as well.
In addition to ham radio I have many (too many) other interests. My wife and I take care of our 18-acre horse farm where we currently have 3 horses: 2 Arabs and 1 half-Arab. I enjoy golfing, and also play guitar, bass, and do some vocals in a rock band.
I enjoy meeting new folks and will look (listen) for you on the airwaves.
