Waiting at Heaven's Gate - Author Unknown
I got to the gates of Heaven yesterday,
After we said good-bye.
I began to miss you terribly,
Because I heard you cry.
Suddenly there was an Angel and she asked me
to enter Heaven's gate.
I asked her if I could stay outside
for someone who'd be late.
I wouldn't make much noise you see,
I wouldn't bark or howl.
I'll only wait here patiently
and play with my tennis ball.
The Angel said I could stay right here
and wait for you to come.
Because Heaven just wouldn't be Heaven
if I went in alone.
I never thought that I would be here again, although that is kind of a silly statement since I knew in my head that Savy would not
be with me forever. I guess you just never think that 'that' day will come. The pain isn't any less after losing her brother ^Cody^ and her first brother ^Muffin^. It is some small comfort
knowing that she is with them once again...

I can not recommend this site highly enough! It is run by a very kind and compassionate woman named Lin
Doss (Whisper's Mom). You can read about her beloved pet Whisper and how she came to offer this great service to people who
would like beautiful ways to remember their pets. I personally have ordered a locket from her and can vouch
for the great service she provides.
I had Lin make me another heart tag with ^Savy's^ name engraved on it. I put it on the same chain with ^Cody's^ tag and I luckily had
just brushed ^Savy^ a few days before she crossed over, so I included some of her hair in with ^Cody's^, so they are both together again
with me. She also sent me my favorite picture of ^Savy's^ beautiful face to include in my locket. So now both ^Savy^ and ^Cody^ face each
other. I will upload the newer pictures so you can see how well they fit together.

This is a message board on iVillage that is hosted by Lin (Whisper's Mom) amongst others who really understand
what grieving a beloved pet is all about.
Pet Loss Support
This is a terrific site that offers memorial pages that you can pay tribute to your pet and to other's
pets that have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. There is also a message board where you can post and
respond to messages to help you through your grief.
