Martin Sheen
Starring as President Bartlet on the show that has built a higher platform for his political views, and a fresh snootful of coke for the insatiable schnozz of creator Aaron Sorkin, Martin Sheen is one of Hollywood's leading whiners. A vocal opponent of the US Army's "School for the Americas", Sheen claims that the US is training foreign soldiers to be political terrorists in their home countries. Sheen is thinking "America first" on this one, since he only supports political terrorists in this country, buddy!
Quote: (on James Dean) - "He was simply a genius."
Anti-quote: Not according to his car.
Pluses: Sheen's bio on Yahoo says that he decided to ditch the idea of going to school, and instead borrowed money from a priest to go to New York. Nowadays, a boy getting cash from a priest may not seem uncommon, but the fact that this happened in the late 50's is a testament to the pioneering nature of Martin Sheen.
Minuses: A man who can't even get all of his sons to agree to use the same last name has the answers for the rest of humanity? I think not.
Rating: Playing the part of the president on a top rated show has a high potential for subversive activity, since fully one half of the population between the ages of 16 and 32 think Sheen is the president (except for Britney Spears, who thinks Jack Nicholson is ...she watched "Mars Attacks!" last night).
Fun fact: Due to "confusing" paperwork, when casting for the role of President of the United States for the show "West Wing", many of the liberal producers who intended to pick Sheen, accidentally chose Pat Buchanan.
